On January 13, a young child fell out of the rear door of a Tracker-2 vehicle while it was moving along Mustaqillik Avenue in Tashkent. The incident was reported by the Tashkent City Road Traffic Safety Department.
According to the report, at around 5:05 p.m., a Tracker-2 vehicle driven by M.M., born in 2000, was traveling along Mustaqillik Avenue when his child, born in 2024, fell from the back seat after the rear door unexpectedly opened.
A serious traffic accident was avoided thanks to the alertness of the driver of a BYD vehicle that was traveling behind the Tracker in the same direction. A patrol inspector from the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs’ Road Traffic Safety Service, Sergeant J. Kuvonov, who was on duty at the intersection of Mustaqillik Avenue and Shahrisabz Street, promptly arrived at the scene. He picked up the child from the roadway and, after finding no visible signs of injury, handed the child over to the father, M.M.
It is worth noting that a similar incident had previously occurred in Tashkent, when a four-year-old girl fell out of a moving vehicle while her grandfather was taking her to kindergarten. The child was not injured in that incident.
