Gaipov Shukurjon Umarovich was appointed acting director of Tashkent International Airport on 21 December 2022, by order of the Chairman of the Board of the Joint Stock Company "Uzbekistan Airports." He took the place of Mirzohid Tursunov, who left the position of airport director by the decision of the board of the joint-stock company. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Airports.

Shukurjon Gaipov started as an engineer in the aircraft maintenance coordination and control department at Tashkent airport. From 2018 until now, he has worked as the head of the government terminal "Tashkent-1".

It should be recalled that "Uzbekistan Airports" JSC is a company that manages 11 international airports in the republic.
