As of 22 February, the exchange rate of the United States dollar in commercial banks of Uzbekistan has risen to 10,955 som. It is the highest rate of dollar in the country’s history.
In turn, commercial banks purchased United States dollars in the range of 10,850-10,900 sum.
For reference, the official exchange rate of the dollar established by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan on 4 March amounts to 10 900.25 sums.
