Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Ankara with his wife

The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, along with his wife, has arrived in Turkey for an official visit, as announced by the President's press service.

Turkey's Vice President, Javdat Yilmaz, and other officials welcomed President Mirziyoyev at Ankara's Esonbuga Airport.

Today, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkey will chair the third meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

During the discussions, they will address the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey, focusing on enhancing cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, education, and cultural-humanitarian sectors.

Additionally, for the first time, there will be a joint meeting with the heads of leading enterprises and companies from both countries.

Previously, it was reported that Mirziyoyev was planning to visit Turkey.
