In particular, they noted with satisfaction that a ceremony had been held to begin concrete pouring at the site of the nuclear power plant being built in Uzbekistan based on a Russian design. It was also highlighted that, on March 16, the third copper processing plant at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine was launched. The report added that the necessary equipment for this facility had been supplied by leading Russian engineering companies.
