A person who had promised to facilitate to go to America is arrested in Samarkand

This information was reported by the Information Service of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office.

It is noted that an individual, identified as A.A., promised to enable another citizen, M.A. to work in the United States of America in exchange for 14,000 US dollars.

According to the agreement, M.A. was supposed to travel to America via the Samarkand-Istanbul-Madrid-Nicaragua route. However, during an operational event conducted by the Samarkand district branch of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office, in collaboration with law enforcement personnel from the Internal Affairs Department, A.A. was apprehended while receiving 3,000 US dollars from M.A., with physical evidence.

Currently, a criminal case under Article 168 of the Criminal Code (fraud) has been initiated, and an investigation is currently underway.

We would like to remind you that just a few weeks ago, another fraudster was apprehended in Kashkadarya for promising to facilitate employment in America in exchange for 15,000 US dollars.
