Several areas in Andijan city were left without electricity after a fire broke out at a substation due to a short circuit, the Andijan regional branch of “Regional Electric Networks” JSC reported.
According to the company, the incident occurred on October 8 at 18:32 at the “Yoyilma” substation of the Andijan Regional Electric Networks. The fire started as a result of a short circuit in electrical wires. Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 18:34 and managed to completely extinguish the flames within 11 minutes.
