Mufti Nuriddin Kholiqnazarov conveyes President Mirziyoyev's regards to Azerbaijan's President

6037Today, on May 1, President Ilhom Aliyev of Azerbaijan welcomed a delegation of Muslim religious leaders from member and observer states of the Organization of Turkish States. This was announced by the President's press office.
The delegation, involving Nuriddin Kholiqnazarov from Uzbekistan, Navrozboy Otpenov from Kazakhstan, Abdulaziz Zokirov from Kyrgyzstan, and Ahmet Unsal from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, joined the meeting alongside other officials.
The meeting focused on the significance of the 6th World Intercultural Dialogue Forum in strengthening relations among people and various religious groups.
“President Ilhom Aliyev underscored the positive development of bonds among Turkic-speaking nations and stressed the importance of collaboration among their religious leaders,” the report stated.
Furthermore, the guests' visit to the liberated territories was highlighted as an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the ongoing developments there.
Nuriddin Kholiqnazarov, representing Uzbekistan, conveyed President Mirziyoyev's best wishes to Azerbaijan's leader, recalling the inauguration of a secondary school named after Mirzo Ulugbek in Fuzuli during Mirziyoyev's state visit in August 2023.
It's worth noting that Mufti Nuriddin Kholiqnazarov was previously appointed as a member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic World Association.
