Mirziyoyev expresses condolences to Putin over Dagestan terrorist attack

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin following the tragic deaths of numerous law enforcement officers and civilians due to terrorist attacks in Darband and Makhachkala. This was reported by the President's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov.
Mirziyoyev strongly condemned the terrorist acts in Dagestan and affirmed Uzbekistan's commitment to ongoing cooperation with relevant entities to combat such threats.
To recap, on the evening of June 23, Dagestan experienced two simultaneous terrorist attacks in Makhachqal’a and Darband. According to Dagestan's leader, Sergey Melikov, the attacks resulted in the deaths of over 15 police officers and several civilians.
