On September 22 at 07:04 Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in Kyrgyzstan, with tremors also felt in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Republican Center for Seismological Monitoring.
According to the information, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 265 kilometers southeast of Tashkent, in Batken, Kyrgyzstan. The tremor had a magnitude of 3.3 at a depth of 10 kilometers. Its coordinates were 40.09 degrees north latitude and 71.95 degrees east longitude.
In Uzbekistan, the earthquake was felt as follows:
2 points in the city of Kuvasay, 23 km from the epicenter;
2 points in the Fergana district, 31 km away;
2 points in the city of Fergana, 68 km away.
It is worth noting that earlier, a 4-point earthquake was recorded in the Navoi region.
