Wanted suspect captured in Tashkent

A person wanted by law enforcement authorities was detained in the Chilonzor district of Tashkent by a traffic police inspector on duty. The information was reported by the Traffic Safety department of the Tashkent city Main Directorate of Internal Affairs.

According to the report, on October 13 at around 01:20 am, Sergeant D. Shomurodov, an officer of the 4th battalion of the Traffic Patrol Service of the Tashkent city police department, stopped a Damas vehicle on Qatortol street during his patrol duty. While checking the documents, the driver, born in 2001 and identified as M.O., behaved suspiciously, which raised doubts among the officers.

Upon verifying his information through a tablet device using a special database, it was revealed that M.O. was wanted for committing a crime under Article 168, part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Fraud).

After completing the necessary documentation, the individual was handed over to the Chilonzor district department of Internal Affairs.

It is worth noting that earlier, three Uzbek citizens wanted for committing crimes were detained in Turkey.
