Interpol-listed Uzbek citizen detained and extradited from Oman

A person wanted through Interpol channels has been extradited from Oman to Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The individual, accused of committing a crime under Article 135 of the Criminal Code (human trafficking), was extradited under the supervision of the National Central Bureau of Interpol.
An international wanted notice was issued based on the evidence presented.
Through Interpol channels, it was confirmed that the wanted individual was in Oman, where she was arrested in April of this year.
The suspect was handed over to representatives of the National Central Bureau of Interpol and law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan at Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent.
It is worth noting that earlier, two women wanted internationally under the supervision of the National Central Bureau of Interpol were also brought to Tashkent from Muscat, Oman.
