A person engaged in temporary storage of drugs in a drug trade was caught

In the Sergeli district of Tashkent city, a person who was engaged in temporary storage of drugs in a drug trade was arrested.  This was reported by the Press Service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city.

It is noted that on 12 February of this year, a 30-year-old citizen was arrested while trying to hide drugs on the street.  50 bags with a specific smell, gray-brown substance with a total weight of 160 grams were found with him.  In the examination, it was found out that it was heroin.

According to the arrested person, he himself was using drugs.

“I bought medicine for myself from online stores.  After some time, they contacted me and offered me a job.  I agreed,” said the defendant.

The first step was taking a package of hashish and hiding it in the indicated place.  The man agreed to the second assignment.  However, he was caught red-handed while carrying out the task.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated under Article 273, Part 5 of the Criminal Code.  This article stipulates the punishment of imprisonment from 10 to 20 years.
