Abbosbek Fayzullaev, a player for the Uzbekistan national team and Russian club CSKA Moscow, has publicly apologized for a mistake that led to a goal during the recent Moscow derby. He addressed the incident on his official Instagram page.

On May 19, CSKA and Lokomotiv Moscow played to a 2–2 draw in the 29th round of the Russian Premier League. The match took place at the RZD Arena (Temiryulchilar Stadium).

Lokomotiv's Dmitry Vorobyov scored twice—first in the 10th minute and again in the 25th. The second goal followed a critical error by Fayzullaev, who had come on as a substitute. His misdirected pass was intercepted by Vorobyov, who capitalized on the opportunity to score.

“I apologize to all the fans for the mistake I made during the second goal. I take full responsibility and will try to help the team in the next games,” Fayzullaev wrote on Instagram.

Despite the early setback, CSKA managed to equalize, and the match ended 2–2, with each team earning one point.

As it stands, CSKA is in third place on the league table with 56 points, ahead of Dynamo Moscow on goal difference. Lokomotiv sits in sixth place with 50 points.

In the final round of the season on May 24, CSKA will host Paris NN, while Lokomotiv will play away against Akron.
