A photo of the collapse of a road in Fergana region was circulated on social networks. The regional traffic safety department provided information on the situation.
It is noted that on 1 February this year, a collapse occurred due to the accumulation of underground water under a road surface in 25 kilometers of the 4 K 923 Yaypan-Rapqon-Beshariq-Chilmakhram highway.
It is said that the situation was resolved on the same day with the help of necessary forces and traffic was restored.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the Nexia vehicle was slightly injured in the traffic accident that occurred due to a malfunction on the road.
“Currently, studies are being conducted in connection with this situation,” the report of the department says.
