New additional information signs will be installed to indicate the operating hours of the “Stopping is prohibited” and “Parking is prohibited” road signs, according to a government resolution adopted under the President’s instructions.
The resolution mandates a complete review of the “Stopping is prohibited” and “Parking is prohibited” signs to ensure they are installed only where necessary.
Road signs located in unnecessary places will be removed, and supplementary signs will be added to specify their active hours.
The resolution allows vehicles to stop and park legally outside the specified operating hours on these signs. For example, if a “No Parking” sign operates from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., vehicles will be permitted to park freely between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. in the same area.
It is important to note that from June 1, the use of automated photo and video recording equipment to record violations involving road markings will be prohibited, except for violations at the stop line (road sign 5.33).
Additionally, starting June 1, urban road repairs and road marking work will be prohibited between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., except on weekends or in urgent cases.
From September 1, installation of the “Radar” road sign will be mandatory in areas where stationary and mobile speed radars operate. These signs must be placed between 250 and 500 meters from radar locations.
Furthermore, driving other vehicles in bus lanes marked with the letter “A” between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. will no longer be considered a violation.
