A criminal case was initiated against the leader of a virtual group promoting extremist ideas in the Namangan region.  This was reported by the State Security Service.

It is noted that a citizen living in the city of Namangan fell under the influence of destructive forces through social networks and as a result created a virtual group on Telegram.  The group included 9 people living in the city of Namangan.

In turn, the leading group includes the "emigration" and "jihad" of "Sadiq Samarkand", "Abdullah Zufar", "Abdullah Bukhari", "Mahmud Abdulmomin", "Abu Salah", who are the ideological leaders of terrorists and extremist organizations.”  They invited the members of the group to join the terrorist organization "Secretary of Monotheism and Jihad" in Syria.

Their illegal activity was stopped as a result of the search and rescue operations he conducted.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the accused by Article 244-1, Part 3, Clause "g" of the Criminal Code.

"Regarding the actions of the members of the group, examinations are being carried out up to the investigation," the report said.
