Some entrepreneurs to be exempted from land and property taxes

In city and regional centers, entrepreneurs who construct buildings with the ’’Neighborhood council of seven’’ located on the ground floor will be exempted from land and property taxes for three years. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this today, October 14, during a video conference on further improving the neighborhood system and organizing effective work at the local level. 

In rural areas, these benefits will be valid for seven years.

Entrepreneurs who own such buildings will also pay profit and turnover taxes at a 50% reduced rate during this period. 

The regional ’’Reform headquarters’’ will consult with entrepreneurs to designate specific locations for building neighborhood offices and issue land allocation decisions.

It was also noted at the meeting that nearly 1,000 modern neighborhood buildings have been constructed through public-private partnerships thanks to the provided conditions.
