Fire breaks out in the household service building in Andijan

On June 28, a fire occurred in a household service building in the Kurgantepa district of the Andijan region, according to the regional Department of Emergency Situations.
The fire was reported at 4:09 pm to the Andijan Regional Department of Emergency Situations. It had broken out in a household service facility operated by a private business entity in the Mustaqillik mahalla of Kurgantepa district. Firefighters contained the blaze by 4:34 pm, and it was fully extinguished by 4:45 pm.
No injuries were reported. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the amount of material damage sustained.
As a reminder, a separate fire was reported earlier at a tire shop in the city of Samarkand. No casualties were reported in that incident either.
