Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City player Abduqodir Khusanov has become Asia’s most valuable defender, according to the Transfermarket portal.
According to the source, the market value of South Korean defender Kim Min-jae, who plays for Bayern Munich, has dropped from €40 million to €32 million. Following this change, the Uzbek footballer, valued at €35 million, has become the most expensive defender on the continent.

Khusanov also shares the top position on the list of Asia’s most valuable footballers alongside Japanese forward Kaoru Mitoma, both valued at €35 million.
It is worth noting that earlier, the Uzbek player had recovered from injury and returned to Manchester City’s training sessions.
