Abdukodir Khusanov nominated for Manchester City Player of the Month

English club Manchester City has announced three nominees for its Player of the Month award for April. The shortlist includes Abdukodir Khusanov, Bernardo Silva, and Nico O'Reilly.

The three players played key roles in the team’s successful run, with the “Citizens” securing five victories during the month in matches across the Premier League and the FA Cup.

Uzbekistan national team centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov had previously been named Player of the Month in January and March and continued his consistent performances in April. His pace, physicality, and aggressive style of play have become an integral part of the team’s defense. He has also contributed to building attacks with accurate passing and composure in key moments. Notably, his performance was highlighted in Manchester City’s narrow 1–0 victory over Burnley.

Voting for the Player of the Month award is already underway, with the winner set to be announced later this week.
