Man detained for attempting to send Kashkadarya residents abroad for work

Individuals who promised to send citizens abroad for employment have been detained in the Kashkadarya and Navoiy regions, the State Security Service reported.
According to the report, the head of a travel agency operating in the city of Navoiy gained the trust of a citizen born in 2006 and residing in Khatirchi district. The suspect was detained with evidence while receiving $3,000 in exchange for arranging documents to send the individual to Bulgaria for work.
A similar case was uncovered in Kitob district. In this instance, a man born in 1997 and residing in Tashkent region gained the trust of two citizens and promised to arrange work visas and employment in Israel through his contacts, demanding $20,000 in return.
During operational measures, the suspect was detained in Kashkadarya region while receiving $5,000 as part of the requested amount.
Authorities said criminal cases have been initiated in both incidents, and investigative actions are ongoing.
Earlier, a similar case was reported in Zarbdor district of Jizzakh region, where an individual was detained for obtaining 65 million soums by promising to send a citizen to South Korea for work.
