Zamin Airport temporarily halts operations for repairs

Zamin Airport has been temporarily suspended and is not serving passengers, according to a report from Uzhydromet.
The suspension is due to the ongoing second stage of repair and re-equipment work at the airport to accommodate larger aircraft. Simultaneously, work is being carried out to modernize the airport's meteorological facilities.
“We would like to inform you that the mentioned work at Zamin Airport will be completed, and the airport will resume receiving passengers,” the report stated.
It should be recalled that earlier reports indicated that flights were being diverted to an alternative airfield due to fog at Termez Airport.
