Amusement ride collapses in Jizzakh, several injured (video)

Four people were injured after an amusement ride broke down at a park in Jizzakh city, the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety reported.

According to the committee, the incident was studied by responsible employees of its Jizzakh regional department. It occurred at around 10:00 p.m. on June 10 at the Orda ecological, cultural and recreation park in Jizzakh city. The ride involved was a 16-seat attraction called Bashnya Padeniya, manufactured in 2019 and belonging to Niyatjon niyati LLC.

As a result of the incident, four citizens sustained injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized. No deaths were reported.

It was added that the next technical inspection of the attraction had been carried out on November 5, 2025. Responsible authorities are currently conducting a preliminary pre-investigation review and inquiry.

Earlier, a ride chain broke and collapsed at the Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur recreation park in Andijan region, injuring two people.
