Man arrested for trying to sell government land in Jizzakh

In the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region, a citizen attempted to sell land owned by the government. This was reported by the Jizzakh Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the report, during an operational operation carried out by law enforcement agencies in Jizzakh, a resident of the Bakhmal district was caught in the act of illegally acquiring 40 hectares of land located within the "Mogol" agricultural cooperative, which was owned by the government. The land was being sold to another citizen for 205 million sums.
It was noted that pre-investigation measures are currently underway regarding the case.
It should be remembered that similar illegal land-related activities have been detected in the Syrdarya, Tashkent, Khorezm, Andijan, and Fergana regions previously.
