Dollar exchange rate drops below 12,700 soums for the first time since last September

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced the official foreign currency exchange rates against the Uzbek soum for June 11.
According to the data, the official exchange rate of the US dollar fell by 37.68 soums, reaching 12,674.37 soums. This marks the first time since September last year that the dollar rate has dropped below the 12,700 soums mark.
The euro exchange rate also declined by 54.46 soums, settling at 14,470.33 soums.
Meanwhile, the Russian ruble experienced a slight increase of 0.13 soums, reaching 161.23 soums.
