Uzhydromet issues another urgent weather warning

Today, October 28, strong winds and dust storms are expected in several regions of Uzbekistan, according to Uzhydromet.
The agency reported that in Bukhara, Navoi, Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, as well as in some mountainous areas, wind speeds may increase to 13–18 m/s, accompanied by dust storms.
In the capital, wind speeds are expected to reach 10–12 m/s, with possible dust rise.
“We ask residents and visitors in these regions to take necessary precautions,” the statement said.
Uzhydromet emphasized that in such weather conditions, citizens should limit outdoor activities and wear masks when going outside.
It is worth noting that Uzhydromet had issued a similar warning on October 27, cautioning about strong winds and dust storms across the country.
