Between 13-14 of May of the current year, in the foothills and mountainous areas of Uzbekistan, intermittent rain will be observed and will greatly affect some places.

hunderstorms and hail will be possible in some areas also.  This is reported by the Hydrometeorological Service Center.

The heavy rains on 13-14 May, in the foothills and mountainous areas of the republic are expected in many regions including:

Kashkadarya region: in Yakkabog, Dehkanabad, Chirakchi, Kitab, Shakhrisabz, Kamashi, Guzar, Koson districts;
Surkhandarya region: in Sariasia, Uzun, Altynsai, Denau, Boysun, Sherabad, Shurchi, Kumkurgan, Muzrabat districts;
Samarkand region: in Urgut, Samarkand, Bulungur, Nurabad, Koshrabat, Kattakurgan, Payarik, Jambay, Ishtikhon districts;
Navoi region: in Khatirchi, Navbakhor, Nurata, Konimex, Karmana districts;
Jizzakh region: in Zaamin, Bakhmal, Gallaaral, Sharof Rashidov, Forish, Yangiabad districts;
Tashkent region: in Ahangaron, Bostanlyk, Parkent, Pskent, Orta Chirchik, Yukori Chirchik districts and in the cities of Angren and Almalyk;
Namangan region: in Pop, Kosonsoy, Chartak, Chust, Namangan, Yangikurgan districts;
Fergana region: in Sokh, Fergana, Besharik districts;

Andijan region: in Andijan, Asaka, Jalakuduk, Kurgantepa, Pakhtaabad, Izbaskan, Khojaabad, Marhamat districts and the city of Khanabad floods will be possible.

Citizens living in the foothills and mountainous areas, vacationers and those who will be driving in the mountainous areas are asked to take precautions.
