Candidates for Uzbekistan’s best football player and coach of the year were announced

Fourteen footballers are competing for the title of Uzbekistan’s best football player for 2024, as reported by the press service of the Football Association of Uzbekistan.
The nominees for the award include Abbosbek Fayzullayev, Eldor Shomurodov, Abdukodir Khusanov, Utkir Yusupov, Anvar Khojimirzayev, Husniddin Alikulov, Abduvohid Nematov, Jaloliddin Masharipov, Akmal Mozgovoy, Oston Urunov, Odil Hamrobekov, Jamshid Iskandarov, Otabek Shukurov, and Sherzod Nasrullayev.
For the title of best coach of the year, three candidates have been nominated: Mirjalol Kasimov, Rozikul Berdiev, and Temur Kapadze.
Additionally, nominees for the best in women’s football and futsal categories have also been announced.
It is worth noting that FIFA recently revealed the nominees for "The Best" award, which celebrates the top performers in football worldwide.
