Uzbekistan announces May 9 holiday schedule

Citizens of Uzbekistan will enjoy three days off in connection with Memorial and Honor Day, observed on May 9. This was announced by the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment.
According to the official schedule, the days off are as follows:
- May 9 (Friday) – Memorial and Honor Day;
- May 10 (Saturday) – a day off for those working a five-day week; a regular working day for those on a six-day schedule;
- May 11 (Sunday) – a regular day off.
The extended break provides an opportunity for the public to commemorate the occasion and spend time with their families.
