From June 16 to 19, an intense wave of hot air is expected to move into Uzbekistan from the south, according to the Center of Hydrometeorological Services (Uzhydromet).

Uzhydromet reports that daytime temperatures will rise sharply during this period. On June 16–17, extreme heat will affect the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, while from June 17 to 19, high temperatures will spread across the rest of the country. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 40–42 degrees Celsius in most areas, and in some southern and desert regions, they may climb to 43–44 degrees.

Wind speeds across Uzbekistan are also forecast to increase, reaching 13–18 meters per second, with dust clouds likely in some areas.

It is worth noting that Uzhydromet previously released a broader forecast for Uzbekistan's weather during June.
