The Insolvency Affairs Agency and its regional divisions will be established under the Ministry of Justice. This is provided for in the decree “On Measures to Further Improve the Insolvency Institution,” adopted by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 6.

The agency has been designated as a specially authorized state body responsible for implementing a unified state policy in the field of insolvency.

The agency’s main tasks in the field of insolvency include implementing state policy in this area, including monitoring and regulating the sector; coordinating the activities of state bodies and organizations in insolvency matters; and fully digitalizing insolvency processes while simplifying excessive bureaucratic procedures.

The Chamber of Court Managers of Uzbekistan will be established on the basis of the Association of Court Managers of Uzbekistan, with membership consisting of all court managers.

Together with its regional branches in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regions and Tashkent, the chamber will form a unified self-governance system that brings together court managers.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan planned to establish the Chamber of Court Managers to improve the efficiency of court managers’ activities.
