A badge for entrepreneurs is established in Uzbekistan

   The president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the decision on the establishment of the "Active Entrepreneur" badge.  You can read the full text of the decision below.

The decision of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In order to encourage business representatives who make their worthy contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in our country, to provide employment to the population, to increase the export potential of the republic, and introducing innovations, as well as to ensure the performance of the tasks defined within the framework of open communication of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan with entrepreneurs on 20 August 2021:

1. "Active entrepreneur" badge to be established.
2. It should be noted that:
                                                                                                                                                                                                            With the "Active Entrepreneur" badge, prominent entrepreneurs in our country who are creating jobs, introducing innovations, paying taxes on time, exporting products and services, training qualified professionals and setting an example for everyone with their success in business and social activity are awarded;          

          The "Active entrepreneur" badge is handed over in a ceremonial situation on 20 August - the Day of Entrepreneurs by the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan or on his behalf, the chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the head of the administration of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan. , the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the heads of republican bodies of ministries, departments, and public associations, the chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the governors (khokims) of regions and the city of Tashkent, as well as other persons delegated to this;

Every year, the book "Progressive Entrepreneurs of the Year" is published about persons awarded with the "Active Entrepreneur" badge.

3. The following is to be approved according to:

The regulation on the "Active Entrepreneur" badge, appendix 1;

The description of the badge "Active Entrepreneur" to be approved in accordance with appendix 2.

4. The Cabinet of Ministers together with the Chamber of Commerce:      

provides the preparation of "Active entrepreneur" badges and their certificates in the prescribed manner; 

Ensure that the book "Progressive Entrepreneurs of the Year" is published annually about persons awarded with the "Active Entrepreneur" badge.     

 5. The Ministry of Finance, according to the estimates of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the expenses related to the annual awarding of the "Active Entrepreneur" badge, its preparation, and the publication of the book "Advanced Entrepreneurs of the Year" take measures to allocate appropriate funds from the republican budget.

6. The Information and Mass Communications Agency, together with the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan and the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, should organize a wide coverage of events dedicated to the awarding of the "Active Entrepreneur" badge in mass media, the internet and social networks.

7. The head of the administration of the p[resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.U. Umurzakov is assigned responsible for the implementation of these tasks.
