An international university is established in Uzbekistan in cooperation with Great Britain

An International Agricultural University has been established in Tashkent in cooperation with the Royal Agricultural University of the United Kingdom.  On 7 May, the president of Uzbekistan issued a decision «On measures for the establishment of the International Agrarian University».

The University is a fully academic and financially independent public higher education institution, established by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Royal Agricultural University of the United Kingdom.

Education at the university is carried out on a grant and paid basis.

From the academic year 2022/2023, the International University of Agriculture will offer the following undergraduate programs:

• Smart Agriculture;
• Agronomy;
• Biotechnology;
• Agro-economics;
• Development of livestock production;
• Food security;
• Agrologistics.
Graduates of the university are given the diploma from a partner university.

According to the decision, the University has created the network center for retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of agriculture in the form of a public institution.

Also, by the end of 2022, the “Agro Innovation Incubator” center will be established as a public institution for the creation and implementation of start-up projects on the basis of scientific developments of students, postgraduate students and researchers, as well as professors and teachers.
