Military parades will not be held in Uzbekistan on 9 May – the Day of Memory and Honor.  On 25 April, Deputy Chief of the General Administration of Educational and Ideological Work of the Defense Ministry, Lieutenant Colonel Oybek Mammadaliyev said this at a press conference in the National Press Center.

During the conference, journalists asked whether military parades had been planned in Uzbekistan on the eve of 9 May.

«There was no parade before this either, including last year.  There is no information about whether a military parade will be held », - Oybek Mamadaliyev said.
