In 2025, a total of 267,131 marriages were officially registered by civil registry offices (ZAGS) in Uzbekistan, the National Statistics Committee reported.
The number of marriages by region is as follows:
- Samarkand Region – 31,700;
- Fergana Region – 28,900;
- Kashkadarya Region – 28,900;
- Tashkent City – 23,100;
- Andijan Region – 23,000;
- Surkhandarya Region – 22,800;
- Namangan Region – 22,000;
- Tashkent Region – 19,100;
- Khorezm Region – 15,300;
- Bukhara Region – 14,900;
- Karakalpakstan – 12,200;
- Jizzakh Region – 11,100;
- Navoi Region – 7,300;
- Syrdarya Region – 6,800.
Earlier, it was reported that in 2025, civil courts in Uzbekistan dissolved 37,544 marriages.
