Uzbekistan launches new “Football TV” channel from January 1

A new football TV channel, “Futbol TV,” will begin broadcasting in Uzbekistan on January 1, 2025. This was reported by the QALAMPIR.UZ source.
The launch of the channel follows the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan titled "On Further Increasing the Position of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan in the Media Space of Our Country and Introducing Modern Approaches to Its Activities," No. PF-141, dated September 19, 2024. The decree outlines the establishment of “Futbol TV” under the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan.
It is important to note that the “Futbol TV” channel previously operated under the “UzReport” TV channel in Uzbekistan between 2017 and 2022.
