Heat wave alert: Hot air masses approaching Uzbekistan

Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for tomorrow, July 2, warning of very hot air masses moving into Uzbekistan from the south.

In Tashkent, the weather will be partly cloudy, with no precipitation expected. Winds will blow from the east at 3–8 m/s. Temperatures will range from 21–23°C at night to 37–39°C during the day.

In Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, partly cloudy weather is expected, with no precipitation. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some areas, with dust observed. Nighttime temperatures will be 22–27°C, and daytime temperatures will reach 37–42°C.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, partly cloudy and occasionally variable weather is forecast, without precipitation. Winds from the east will range from 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in places, with possible dust storms. Temperatures will be 22–27°C at night and 39–44°C during the day.

In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, the weather will be partly cloudy with no precipitation. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some areas, with possible dust. Temperatures will be 20–25°C at night and 35–40°C during the day.

In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, partly cloudy skies are expected without precipitation. Eastern winds will blow at 7–12 m/s. Night temperatures will range from 22–27°C, and daytime temperatures will soar to 40–45°C.

In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather will be partly cloudy and variable in some areas, with no precipitation. Winds from the east will reach 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will be 20–25°C at night and 35–40°C during the day.

In the foothill and mountainous regions of the republic, the weather will be partly cloudy and occasionally changeable, with no precipitation expected. Winds from the east will reach 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some areas. Temperatures will be 15–20°C at night and 28–33°C during the day.

As a reminder, very hot air masses are expected to enter the territory of Uzbekistan from July 2 to July 5.
