Plane scheduled to fly to Tashkent collides with birds

On September 12, a passenger plane bound for Tashkent from the Russian city of Irkutsk collided with birds during takeoff. The incident was reported by the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.
According to the report, the Ural Airlines A-319, operating flight 2719 on the Irkutsk–Tashkent route, experienced a bird strike on one of its engines at 07:40 local time while accelerating on the runway. Following the incident, the aircraft commander decided to return to the airport of departure.
There were 91 passengers and 6 crew members on board. No injuries were reported, and the aircraft sustained no damage.
The Baikal-Angara Transport Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into compliance with flight safety regulations.
