Tragedy in Tashkent: 19-year-old man commits suicide

Reports circulated on social media claim that a young man who had lost a significant amount of money on the betting platform 1XBET took his own life by hanging himself.  In response to inquiries from QALAMPIR.UZ, Hayot Shamsutdinov, Press Secretary of the Prosecutor General’s Office, provided official information on the incident.

The tragedy occurred in the Yashnobod district of Tashkent. According to documents from a preliminary investigation conducted by the Yashnobod District Prosecutor’s Office on June 3, the body of a young man named F.O., born in 2006 and a resident of Akoltin district in the Syrdarya region, was discovered on May 31 at approximately 06:30. He was found hanging from a rope tied to a tree in front of House No. 1 on Istiqlol Street, in the M. Riyoziy mahalla of Yashnobod district.

An investigative team arrived at the scene and conducted an examination. A forensic analysis has also been ordered. The Yashnobod District Prosecutor’s Office is currently carrying out pre-investigation checks into the incident.

It is worth recalling that a similar case occurred earlier, when a 38-year-old man was found dead by hanging in a shed in the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region.
