19-year-old man arrested for sexual misconduct in Tashkent

A 19-year-old man was arrested in Tashkent for sexually abusing an underage girl, distributing her photo on the Internet, and insulting the girl's mother. QALAMPIR.UZ got acquainted with the court decision.

According to the court document, the defendant, I.D., born in 2006, On April 25 of this year, he sexually assaulted a minor, J.M., grabbed her by the thigh, took a photo of her leg and thigh in an open position, wrote shameful false posts on the said photo and the photo of J.M.'s face, which led to the humiliation of her dignity and defamation, and distributed them on Instagram.

In addition, I.D. insulted the girl's mother, Z.T., with shameful words over the phone.

This case was considered on May 7 of this year in the Bektemir District Court for Criminal Cases. In court, I.D. confessed to committing the above-mentioned offense, said that he regretted his actions, that such a situation would not happen again in the future, and asked the court to grant him leniency, taking into account his family circumstances. According to the court decision, he was found guilty of committing an offense under Article 41 (insult), Part 1 of Article 411 (sexual harassment), and Part 1 of Article 2022 (dissemination of false information) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, and was sentenced to a fine of 26 million 250 thousand sums and 5 days of administrative detention.

It should be recalled that earlier, a school teacher in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent was sentenced to 5 days in prison for sexually harassing a student by promising to marry her.
