14481A video circulating on social media shows a mass brawl at School No. 285 in Tashkent, where one student reportedly suffered a broken back. The Tashkent City Department of Preschool and School Education has responded to the incident.
According to reports, the fight occurred on January 30 at around 10:15 AM in the hallway of the school’s second floor. The altercation began when U.K., an 11th-grade student from Class “D,” got into a dispute with E.K., a student from Class “B.” U.K. struck E.K. in the face, escalating the situation as other students joined the fight.
Upon learning of the incident, the school administration activated the "panic button" installed on campus. Security guards and a school inspector-psychologist arrived shortly after, stopping the violence. Senior Lieutenant N.O., the school’s assigned inspector-psychologist, documented the incident and took the involved students to the local prevention inspector’s office in the "Yorqin Hayot" neighborhood, where they and their parents received preventive counseling.
Two other 11th-grade students, A.J. and S.M., who participated in the fight, sought medical attention. Both are in stable condition and have been sent home. Law enforcement authorities are currently investigating the case.
This incident follows a similar case earlier in the Urta Chirchik district of Tashkent region, where a 9th-grade student from School No. 50 suffered a broken nose after being brutally beaten by multiple classmates.
