A court verdict was read out in Tashkent for a nanny who stole money from the owner of the house and, taking advantage of the absence of the mother, inflicted various injuries on the baby. QALAMPIR.UZ got acquainted with the court documents.

It is noted that from 2022 to October 2024, the defendant worked and lived in the house of her acquaintance R.M. in Chilonzor, Uchtepa district, Tashkent city, to babysit the children. She constantly took advantage of the owner's distraction when he brought money for shopping, and stole a total of 118 million sums, each time more than 1 million, 2 million sums, and spent it on her own needs.

In addition, the nanny continued her criminal actions and beat her friend's 3-year-old daughter G.O., hitting her on various parts of her body, causing bodily harm. The forensic medical examination revealed that the minor girl had “bruises on the right submandibular area, the front of the upper third of the right thigh, and the front of the upper third of the left thigh.”

At the court hearing, the defendant partially confessed to his guilt. He also said that he had stolen a certain amount of money from R.M.'s business, and that because the girl was crying and upset, he constantly hit her on the head, abdomen, body, and legs with his hand, and several times hit her on the head with a telephone and TV remote control that he had in his hand.

The defendant nanny was found guilty under Article 169 (Theft), Part 3, Clause "c" and Article 110 (Torture), Part 2, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code and sentenced to 5 years and 1 month in prison. The sentence was to be served in a general regime colony.

It should be recalled that earlier in Fergana, a nanny was detained for causing serious bodily injuries to a 2-year-old child.
