Truck crane falls into a pit in Tashkent

On June 11, a truck crane toppled into a pit where pipeline replacement was underway on Choponota Street in the Chilonzor district of Tashkent. The State Committee for Industrial Safety addressed the incident.
It was reported that the truck crane operator got too close to the excavation site. Due to his negligence, he approached the edge of the pit, causing the crane to slip under its own weight. The crane subsequently fell into the pit on one side when the asphalt layer beneath it gave way.
"The crane operator and maintenance crew were unharmed," stated the report.
