During a smuggling operation, $286,900 packed inside the food dishes, was seized at Tashkent International Airport. This was reported by the press service for the State Customs Committee.
It was noted that the foreign currency was hidden between packaged national dishes and a number of sweets.
“At the international airport «Tashkent» customs officials uncovered a smuggling scam in the amount of $286 900. This time, there’s foreign currency hidden in the food,” said the report.
