Official of the swimming federation sends his relatives to Turkey for a vacation from the state money

The Prosecutor General's Office of Uzbekistan has revealed that officials from the Swimming Federation of Uzbekistan misappropriated state funds by sending non-team members, who were actually relatives of the Federation's General Secretary, A.G., on a vacation to Turkey. Among those sent were individuals identified as N.G., M.G., and 15 others, all of whom were not part of the national team. The total amount of money looted for this unauthorized trip was 405 million sums.
Further investigations uncovered that an additional 458 million sums were embezzled through fake orders for training sessions that never took place. Moreover, 1.2 billion sums, which were provided by sponsors to support international competitions and training sessions, were also misappropriated and wasted by the Federation's officials.
