Blaze breaks out in Sherabad district’s Surkhan Reserve (video)

On July 23, a fire broke out in a state reserve located in the Surkhandarya region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported the incident.

According to the report, at 15:52, the Fire Safety Service received a call via the 112 system about a blaze covering approximately 5 hectares in the Surkhan State Reserve, located in the Kyzilolma forestry area of Sherabad district.

In response, fire and rescue teams, along with employees of relevant organizations, were dispatched to the scene. As of now, the fire has not been fully extinguished. Efforts to contain and eliminate the blaze are ongoing, with sufficient personnel and equipment mobilized.

It should be noted that earlier, dry grass and old car tires caught fire in an open area of the Chilanzar district in Tashkent.
