Student dies in scooter collision with Damas in Surkhandarya

A 17-year-old boy died after a Damas car collided with a scooter in the city of Termez, Surkhandarya region. This was reported by the Road Safety Service.

According to the information, the incident occurred on June 6 of this year at 01:30 a.m. in the Bogishamol neighborhood of Termez city. The driver of a Damas vehicle was making a left turn at an intersection when he collided with a scooter traveling in the opposite direction. The scooter was driven by a student born in 2008, an 11th-grade pupil at School No. 12 in Termez.

As a result of the traffic accident, the scooter driver sustained a closed head injury and a fractured femur. He died in the emergency room of the Termez city hospital.

Following the accident, explanatory work was conducted at the enterprise that owned the Damas vehicle.

It should be noted that on June 8, both drivers died in a separate collision involving a scooter and a motorcycle in the Sergeli district of Tashkent.
