Adviser to the Minister of Sports Development is assigned in Uzbekistan

After a decision by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Karimov Avazjon Kudratillaevich was appointed an adviser to the Minister of Development of Sports.

Prior to his appointment to the post, Karimov held the position of Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports.

Avaz Karimov Kudratillaevich was born on 19 May, 1983 in Tashkent. He is highly educated person, graduated from the Tashkent State University of Economics and the Uzbek State Institute of Physical Education.

He began his work in 2006 as a deputy director of the National Karate Federation of Uzbekistan. From 2007 to 2011, he was Chairman of the Tashkent City Department of the National Karate Federation of Uzbekistan, and from 2011 assigned deputy chairman of the Badminton Federation.

Karimov Avazjon Kudratillaevich has held many important positions, working as Deputy Director of the National High Sports School for Winter and Complex Technical Sports during 2014-2015, director of the Republican School of Equestrian Sports, Head of the Department of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Director of Chirchik Olympic Reserve Boarding School during 2017-2019, from September 6, 2019 to the present, the director of the Republican College of Olympic Reserve.

For reference, on 18 February of the current year, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports was divided into two separate ministries: the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Sports Development. Adham Ikramov was appointed Minister to newly established Ministry of Sport.
