Former Deputy Education Minister Khayriddin Mas'udov passes away

Honored public education worker of Uzbekistan and laureate of the International A. Nobel Prize, Khayriddin Fathiddinovich Mas'udov, passed away on February 6 at the age of 88, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations reported.
Born on August 27, 1937, in Tashkent, Mas'udov began his career in the technical field in 1956 before dedicating his life to education. He served for many years as Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan and later as First Deputy Director of the Center for Secondary Specialized and Vocational Education.
Since 2017, Mas'udov had been serving as Deputy Chairman of the Central Council of the Physical Culture and Sports Society of Uzbekistan "Barkamol Avlod."
